The Forbidden Tower


The bird flew under the gleaming moon unaware of what the night would bring.  It flew past the tower’s vast shadow of darkness that consumed all light.

  It saw something beautiful, shiny, it couldn’t hold back following the light. Silently gliding closer to the light it saw something, it glowed, it magnetised the bird toward it. A neon smoke covered the floor, fainting the night bird.

 He woke up in a dark room…  
“Where am I?” he questioned.
“The forbidden tower” a mysterious voice echoed. The night bird flew under a pile of old chairs.
 “You cannot hide puny bird!” The voice screeched.
Suddenly the chairs disappeared into thin air. The night bird tried frantically run but his feet were tied together with thick rope. As soon when the night bird felt like all hope was lost a light turned on. 
The bird yelped. He saw the horrifying creature of the tower. 
“I AM THE ALL AND MIGHTY HEDGEHOG!!!!!” The tiny little hedgehog screamed.  
The night bird replied with “What the?” 
”This is the end” replied the hedgehog trying to sound fierce.

The hedgehog started flinging his spikes at the poor night bird.  He accidentally ran into a cage there for he was trapped.  He felt sad and alone until he felt soft feathers next to him, he turned around and saw the previous night bird. He felt comforted. 
The hedgehog pushed the cage onto its side and rolled it down a hill into a boiling hole of bubbling lava.  The hedgehog was right this was the end.

Slowly drowning in the lava the night bird had one more thing to say.
 “You will never win this battle really you tiny hedgehog!” 
“I already have little bird” replied the hedgehog.   He continued to talk but the night bird didn’t listen. He watched the other night bird drown in the lava.

About an hour later the night bird woke up all he saw a starless forest, amber woods and two paths.   From a distance he could see a faint figure coming closer.  When the figure arrived it talked to the night bird and introduced herself as Spirit and vowed.
 “If you do not pick a side then you will be banished to another dimension unless you are a night bird.   If you are a night bird you must go to into the starless forest.” 
The night bird waited three long and painful minutes but he knew where had to go. Anxiously, he crawled into the starless forest.

When he arrived he closed his eyes and whispered to himself.
 “Why did I chose this path?” He opened his eyes it did not look like he expected. It looked like a normal amber woods. He realised that the portals had been switched, so that if you went to the amber forest you would end up in the starless forest. The Spirit came up to him and clarified that this world was endangered from the starless forest and that there was not much hope left. The night bird felt so crestfallen that he cried and stepped in the puddle of his own tears.  

He knew that the hedgehog would now rule both the Amber woods and Starless Forest because of his mistake.
The night bird knew he had to do something. But what? But since he died there was nothing he could do except fade in despair, now this is the end of both the Amber woods and Starless forest.  Meanwhile all the night birds fled earth.   Now night birds days were as dark as clouds dripping rain and storms.  
The hedgehog, now the ruler of the wood and forest.  He looks to the future, and earth is next.
